Community Comes Together to Help Elderly Ursula Stay Cool
At Paramount Services, we take pride in our commitment to excellence. Our team of highly skilled technicians ensures that every job complies with all local codes and building guidelines, guaranteeing safety and reliability. Ursula was originally a client of Cool Guys, the HVAC business owned by Tim's little brother. After his untimely passing last year, we absorbed his customers and continued to provide the service they relied on. When Ursula called us with her HVAC issues, we were determined to help, despite the financial hurdles.
During a SNARSCA (Southern Nevada Air Conditioning Refrigeration Service Contractors Association) mixer, we shared Ursula’s situation with board member Vern Rettig, who directed us to William Santiago from WinSupply of Clark County. Through their generosity, WinSupply of Clark County donated a new unit, and we at Paramount Services handled the installation. John Parrish from Boulder Dam Crane Co. also stepped up, providing crane services free of charge.
On Friday, August 2nd, 2024, we had the honor of telling Ursula about the community’s efforts to help her. She expressed immense gratitude, calling it a "blessing." Without family of her own, she relies on her neighbors and her church for support. Ursula’s strength is undeniable, but no one should have to endure the sweltering summer heat, and we’re thankful to have been part of a community that came together to give back.
As a Las Vegas-based company, we are deeply moved by the compassion and generosity shown to Ursula. This is what community is all about helping one another when it’s needed most.
